Our Equity Department focuses on equities and pitches on individual stocks and companies.
Equity analysts research within all sectors and are responsible for building a well-performing stock portfolio while carefully managing risk and return.

Strategic Highlights

What makes the FS Invest Equity Department unique? It is its strategic positioning, carefully curated after acknowledging the strengths of its members and the needs of the market.

Focus on Skills

​Hosting of workshops on the topics of DCF/Multiples valuation, investment report skills, and investment research with established database platforms.

​Get-togethers of the department to share experiences and insights from previous job experience.

​Events with renowned banks and asset managers.

Event Showcase

Together with the co-CEOs of the newly founded NuWays AG Christian Sandherr, our members analyzed young, high-growth companies and prepared a short “elevator”-pitch for our guests, presenting an investment thesis and defending their evaluation in front of an investment committee.

Together with Berenberg, our members gained valuable insights into the Portfolio Management and Investment Banking Division of Berenberg, in addition to learning about early career opportunities.

In the course of this workshop, we learned about the current state of ESG investing at one of the largest German asset managers as well as discussed challenges, hands-on approaches, and an outlook for ESG investing.

The Equity Team

Tanay Kadakia / Co-Head Equity

Tanay Kadakia is a 2nd year MiM student at Frankfurt school. He currently works at Berenberg in the portfolio management equities department. Before this, he used to work as an equity research analyst back in India.

Moritz Heßberger / Co-Head Equity

Nils Berger is a 3rd Semester Master of Finance student at Frankfurt School. He has had extensive experience in asset and portfolio management. Currently he is a Working Student at Julius Baer.
